EUROCERT Certifies the Environmental Management System and Verifies the Carbon Footprint of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC)
EUROCERT has successfully completed the certification of the Environmental Management System and the verification of the Carbon Footprint of the SNFCC, in accordance with the requirements of the international standards ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 14064-1:2019, respectively.
The ISO 14001 standard specifies the requirements for establishing an Environmental Management System, focusing on identifying and managing the environmental impacts of an organization's operations.
The ISO 14064-1 standard defines principles and requirements for quantifying and reporting greenhouse gas emissions, as well as requirements for the design, development, management, reporting, and verification of greenhouse gas emission inventories.
By implementing both the Environmental Management System, based on ISO 14001, and the Carbon Footprint Verification, based on ISO 14064-1, SNFCC demonstrates its commitment to the global effort to protect the environment and minimize the impacts of climate change.
As an accredited Certification Body in Greece for ISO 14001 and ISO 14064-1, EUROCERT has the credibility and expertise to reliably conduct Environmental Management System Certifications and Carbon Footprint Verifications for businesses. In doing so, it contributes to the adoption of necessary measures to combat climate change and protect the natural environment.
